5-11-2020

The great state of Texas is beginning to re-open gradually. We are grateful and heartened by this development, but we also believe that we have an ethical responsibility to maintain high health and safety standards for our staff and communities, so we will continue to host our upcoming summer 2020 conferences online.

Our 2020 events calendar looks very different from what we had originally planned!

Our two largest annual conferences—Spring Special Education Law Conference and Education Law for Principals—have both successfully moved online as webinar series. We have amped up the content for both of these events by adding extra speakers and presentations to address our audience’s current legal and leadership needs in this unprecedented time in public education.

A handful of events have been postponed till 2021, but the vast majority of our original schedule will continue to be available to our customers. We are here to meet your professional development needs, whether that be online via webinars or through in-person conferences in the coming months. We are working through the details of each scheduled event on a case by case basis, and we will continue to update our events page and communicate via email about our plans.

We miss our audience’s smiling faces, but the beauty of online webinars is that people can register for a conference or a workshop at any point this summer (webinar recordings from Spring SPED and Ed Law for Principals will be available through August!) and watch at their leisure from the comfort and security of their home or office.

Be on the lookout soon for news about online RtI workshops with Dr. Andrea Ogonosky starting in July!

Stay safe and healthy!
