Session B: 1:15pm - 2:20pm
Location: Exhibit Hall 3
Coordinating the implementation of Restorative Practices in a large high school can be a daunting task, especially with a full-time teaching schedule. In this session, I’ll share my plan for recruiting a group of “Pioneers” to blaze the trail and an implementation team to provide them with a system of support. I’ll also share strategies for generating enthusiasm and buy-in to help RP go viral. Trauma research and stories about my experiences will illustrate why I find implementation so crucial that I have chosen to add this work to my classroom teaching responsibilities.
