Districts across the country are looking for ways to set systems in place and creating a common language that allows social and emotional learning to flourish in an intentional way. When districts have a why and a common framework from which to work, decisions and implementation planning becomes much more intentional, sustainable, and impactful. Round Rock ISD has created a district wide framework and learning targets. These strategies have allowed for deep implementation of systems and creates a common vision of social emotional learning across its 55 campuses. In the three years of its work, social emotional learning has taken root within all aspects of this districts mission and vision.
