Cesar Chavez Academy in the second year implementation of Restorative Practices will share the successes, struggles of establishing circles. The successful collaboration with the El Paso County Probation Department will also be featured. This session will share the first year experiences of a secondary discipline alternative school that includes a Juvenile Justice Alternative Program. Circles were conducted three times weekly with students, one time monthly with parents, at every professional development session with teachers. We will share surveys, videos, and stories.
