Come learn about the power of classroom circles with NEDRP’s Denise Holliday, known to many of us as “Circlemamma,” and John Whalen. Denise and John are authors of the new book “Classroom Circles: A Toolkit for Building Relationships and Strengthening School Communities”. Participants will learn about the structure of circle, why we circle, the healing that circle can bring, and the connecting power of circle. Watch examples of circles ranging from kinders to seniors in high school while going into topics including humor, family, and equity. Denise and John will share their powerful experiences as well as give guidance for those looking to invest in circle. This is the perfect session to kick off conference with!
