This session will take a look at SB1153- the new state requirements for RtI, with an emphasis on RtI for behavior and how using restorative practices could serve as an intervention for students with behavioral challenges. We will discuss the need for explicit instruction for behavior, cultural sensitivity, and building relationships with students through using Restorative Practices, circles, and implementing interventions with fidelity.
