The mission of the Restorative Practices Initiatives in Fort Worth ISD is to positively impact the culture and climate, with a focus on fidelity and intentionality. Through the process of restorative practices, we aim to engage social and emotional wellness, restoration, repair, and the ability to manage conflict, while building and sustaining relationships. “The Tale of Two Classrooms” portrays the components of Fort Worth ISD restorative practices continuum. These components cultivate a safe space for disclosure, humanizing teachers, building trust and growing/repairing relationships.
