The Tale of Two Classrooms , Traditional vs Restorative

Trina Harris is excited to help lead the FWISD restorative practices movement. As an educator and child advocate for almost 19 years, her lifelong work has been centered around student, family and community relationships. She believes that through every interaction with children there should be a seed planted, watered, or cultivated. Mrs. Harris’ idea is that it is up to every responsible adult to take advantage of the opportunities to prepare students for the future. She is confident that through restorative practices connections, safety, trust, and belonging can be established and translated into skill sets far beyond the classroom.
