Available training topics, customizable to your district’s needs:
Motivating Students through Positive Relationships
Building positive relationships with students is a significant component to effective classroom management practices. It also helps to make school fun for both teachers and students. This presentation explains why positive relationships are needed to motivate student learning and what steps teachers need to take to make it happen.
Classroom Management Tune-Up
Alternative certification programs now prepare approximately 50% of all new Texas teachers. Many of these teachers have tremendous passion but little preparation. Workshop participants engage in a series of activities to learn and apply research-based best practices for effective classroom management.
Now I Get It
Teachers often cite lack of support by their administration as a key reason for leaving the profession. Many teachers have never taken a school law course and have little understanding of laws and policies that drive administrative decision-making. This workshop is designed to help teachers understand the legal rationale behind administrative decisions. With increased knowledge comes increased understanding and greater teamwork.
